When Will This ‘Madness Ends’, Asks Sajad; Tarigami Also Condemns

Srinagar, Sept 17 : Unknown gunmen suspected to be militants shot dead a non-local labourer in Neehama area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district late on Friday.

Official sources told GNS the 35-year-old labourer identified as Shankar Choudary of Bihar was brought to district hospital Kulgam where doctors declared him brought dead.

Dr Muzaffar Zargar, Medical Superintendent District hospital Kulgam, confirmed to GNS that non-local had bullet injuries in the head. “He was brought dead,” he said. a police officer told GNS that investigations have been launched into the incident.  

Peoples Conference president Sajad Gani Lone and Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, CPI(M) leader, condemned the killing.

“A non local Shankar Choudhary shot dead. When will this madness end. Strongly condemn this heinous act,” Sajad said.Tarigam said that he strongly condemns the killing. (GNS)
