Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Guv Manoj Sinha inaugurated Jammu Haat along with Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh

The Centre will reshape the business environment by lifting the existing handloom, handicraft & small industrial products and opening up the world of opportunities for the local entrepreneurs.
Jammu Haat will be a unique marketplace to not only exhibit the richness of J&K’s culture but also a platform to connect, compete and collaborate with global market players. This modern facility will become driver of growth for local artisans and local Entrepreneurs.
Today, 4 lakh J&K women are associated with Self Help Groups & to scale up their business, the UT admin has provided Rs 910 crore this year. Similarly, Jammu Haat will also act as an exclusive hub for Women Entrepreneurs associated with Small & Medium-sized Enterprises.
The J&K government has decided to extend necessary financial support to all the people who are working for the development of the handicrafts sector in the UT. The administration aims to extend financial help for up to 2 lakh people of the Jammu division only: Office of LG J&K
