Srinagar, Sep 27: Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary (BJP) (organization) Ashok Koul on Monday said modern education is also important like religious education as it is important for the overall development of human personality.
Koul distributed the ration kits and books among girl students of Imam Ahmad Raza Islamic Research Institute, Jangalaat Mandi Anantnag, and stated that education is a vital segment.
“Both religious and modern education is two sides of the same coin. They have the same importance, so one should consider both forms of education necessary for their lives,” he said.
Koul also interacted with students and teachers on the occasion and urged the students to work hard to achieve their goals.
He said the seven years of Modi government have set examples as drinking water, electricity and good governance reached to every home.
While appreciating the work of the BJP in Kashmir, he said they have done a remarkable job during the Covid19 crisis and it should continue in the future.
Koul said youth should come forward and see the vision of BJP for development. We are committed and dedicated to our vision and mission in the region, he said.
“From the past seven years, youth are coming forward to join mainstream,’ he said.
Senior party members including State Vice President Sofi yousif District President Anantnag Wajahat Hussain, Sidiq Khan, Rafiq Khan, Veer Ji Saraf, and other leaders were present on the occasion.
