Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday visited PDP youth President Waheed-ul-Rehman Para’s residence at Naira area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
It is pertinent to mention that After 18 months of his arrest by the NIA on charges of alleged terror links, PDP youth wing leader Waheed Ur Rehman Para was granted bail by High Court on Wednesday.
Taking to a micro blogging site, JKPDP wrote, “PDP President @MehboobaMufti today visited the residence of @YouthJKPDP @parawahid at Naira,Pulwama. Waheed Parra was released recently after 18 months of incarceration. ”
Para was arrested by the NIA on November 25, three days after he had filed nomination papers from Pulwama for the maiden District Development Council elections in J&K. He had won while in custody.
