Police along 50 RR and 181 Bn CRPF have arrested two militant associates of proscribed militant outfit LeT in Budgam.
Incriminating materials of Lashkar-e-Toiba and following arms/ammunition were also recovered from their possession : AK magazines 02 number AK rounds 54 . The arrested militant associates have been identified as : 1) Shahnawaz Ahmad Bhat SO Abdul Aziz Bhat RO Kralpora and 2) Sameer Ahmad Najar SO Gulam Ahmad RO Gund chekpora kanipora
Both arrested militant associates have been found involved in providing logistics and support to the active militants of LeT as well as transportation of arms and ammunition in Chadoora area of Budgam. Case vide FIR No.150/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Chadoora investigation has been initiated.
