The Shah re khass traders held an important meeting with the various delegations of Shah re khass, meeting was presided by President Bashir Ahmad Kanu and all the representatives seemed not happy with the service of Jammu and Kashmir Bank, as every trader has an account in the bank. There is shortage of staff, system problem after upgradation of finacle 10 and other so many issues.
The traders raised the question why they will suffer due to the problems of bank administration? Why we wait for hours at bank? Every trader complained that the cash deposited in morning, is credited after 3 pm in account, and and we have to visit 3 or 4 times to branch as they are not responding phone calls too.After contacting some branches, branch heads show their helplessness, as jk bank administration not providing the staff as per requirements. Also we have requested in last month for repairing two CDMs already installed in Rajouri kadal branch and Bohrikadal branch, but they don’t take any action yet. It is fact that most traders installed other banks POS machines in their shops instead of jk bank, if the issues will not be resolved, we will switch our business to other banks.
President Bashir Ahmad Kanu, assured the delegation that we have already discussed these issues, but the jk bank administration is not serious regarding Shah re khass, they are only making lists of barrowers in their AC rooms, if our complaints will not be resolved in a very short period of time we will definitely switch our business to other banks, if they will give us better service this bank. So, we request L. G Monoj Sinha Sahab and chairman Jammu and Kashmir Bank to intervene in this matter, and make an enquiry why Bank administration not resolving the issues of Shah re khass, although There is more business here than other areas.
