December 13, Police in Pulwama along with Army (55RR) and CRPF (182/183 BN) at a joint checkpoint established at Bandzoo Crossing arrested one active militant associate linked with proscribed militant outfit Al-Badr and recovered incriminating materials, arms/ammunition including a Pistol from his possession.
He has been identified as Yawar Bashir Dar son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Arigam Pulwama. In this regard, a Case vide FIR No. 358/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Pulwama and further investigation is in progress.
