Sopore, 14 February 2023: A Police party Led by DO Fruit Mandi Inspector Sajad Ahmad apprehended one drug peddler during patrolling duty at Chakrodi Khan Crossing.
During his personal search 12 bottles of Cobold-CD (codine Phosphate) were recovered from his possession and was identified as: Bilal Ahmad Sheikh S/O Abdul Khaliq Sheikh R/O Batpora Sopore.
In this regard, case FIR No. 19/2023 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation has been taken up.
General public of the area hailed the efforts of Sopore Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs and other social evils.
