Says administration should ensure that the affected families whose property got damaged do not suffer in this regard

Kulgam, Feb 23: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference State Secretary Sakina Itoo on Thursday expressed sorrow over the damage to several structures due to a landslide and urged the J&K government to provide immediate relief to the families who have suffered damages due a landslide occurred in Noorabad area of Damhal Hanjipora in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
In a press byte issued here, Itoo urged the district administration Kulgam to rehabilitate the affected families and provide them immediate relief material and compensation for their losses.
The administration should ensure that the affected families whose property got damaged do not suffer in this regard,” she said.
Notably, A residential house and some shops were damaged have suffered huge damages at Shalmachi Yarikhah in Noorabad in which almost 3-5 shops belonging to Fayaz Ahmad Hajam and Abdul Majeed Hajam got damaged.
