SSM College of Engineering organized a farewell party on 29042023 in the honour of Dr. Rakesh Sehgal Director NIT Srinagar on the occasion of completion tenure of five and a half years in the said capacity and consequent transfer from NIT Srinagar. Besides Dr. Sehgal, his wife Mrs. Usha Sehgal and HOD Physics NIT Srinagar were also present on the occasion. Since the event was organized to commemorate the achievements and good work done by Dr. Sehgal during his tenure, his inspiring journey was praised the speakers of the event. throughout by Dr. Shah, HOD Physics department, NIT Srinagar praised and acknowledged all the work done by Dr. Sehgal and expressed his gratitude to him . Mrs. Dilafrose Qazi, Vice Chairperson of the college support given to the college during his tenure. thanked Dr. Sehgal for the Dr. Sehgal, the chief guest of the event expressed gratitude to one and all and humbled the students with his inspiring words and encouraged them to never settle for less. At the end of the event Dr. Sehgal was also presented with a token of love and remembrance by the dignitaries of SSM College of Engineering.
